Studio Ashby’s guide to the amenities

Studio Ashby’s guide to the amenities

06 February 2017

Our stunning residents’ amenity spaces have been designed by interior design expert Sophie Ashby of Studio Ashby. We reveal the key features and factors that influenced each of the unique and eclectic spaces.

Inspired by the geometry of the new residential towers, the façade features and the ‘old meets new’ aspect of the development, Sophie aims to create warm, welcome and playful shared spaces where residents feel at home and long to linger. Furniture pieces that promote a sense of sharing and community creating functional zones, from large groups having dinner parties to somewhere private to read a book.

East London Art – Connection with the local talent; curating a selection of art from local Art Galleries in Hackney. George Blacklock, Michael Armitage, Sam Windett, John Stezaker, Peter Davies.

Feature panelling – Abstract panelling which celebrates London’s iconic architecture surrounding One Crown Place.

Custom living – Integrating full height shelved dividing walls in the main living area which will be filled with an eclectic selection of books and styled with beautifully crafted objects creating a comfortable welcoming environment.
